Its time to look forward to November week 1, when we prepare to break one bad habit!
These past five weeks have been filled with meetings with childhood friends and evenings spent embracing our inner child as, throughout October, we’ve added some colour to this dreary month by infusing our lives with fun.
Now that the month has ended in a dazzle of fireworks and a parade of colourful costumes, though, it’s time to switch gears and focus our attention on something new. This November, we’re going to make sure to send a bad habit packing!
Get ready to commit!
We all have at least one bad habit that we wish we could beat, whether that habit is something as innocuous as knuckle cracking, soup slurping, or nail biting (which I myself am guilty of), or something that can have serious consequences on our health, such as smoking or eating fast food too often.
Next week, we’re going to lay down the groundwork to break our bad habit by understanding and committing to kicking that bad habit to the curb.
Prep for next week
Preparing for next week is easy—figure out which bad habit you’d like to focus on this month, and decide why you’d like to focus on this habit in particular.
Personally, I’d like to stop biting my nails, because it’s unsightly and not all that hygienic. What about you?
