Liquid Art House, Boston – a feast for the eyes and the stomach.

The ladies of the Women in Travel Summit 2015 were treated to a special VIP cocktail hour at this sleek and stylish gallery-restaurant.  Liquid Art House is more than a bar or restaurant. Entrepreneur Ruta Laukien and award-winning chef Rachel Klein have created the ultimate artful experience.

The sleek, gallery-style restaurant features rotating works of art on display, which are also available for purchase; incredible art-inspired craft cocktails; and exquisite cuisine.  Colorful glass pieces adorn the dining tables, and beautiful works of art are on display throughout the space.  Works vary in medium and price, and artists on display range from up-and-coming to world-renowned. There is something for everyone!

Guest Curator Brenda Taylor led the Women in Travel Summit attendees around the gallery-restaurant, giving a personal tour of the many pieces on display. Brenda’s savvy made for a wonderful tour. The WITS VIP ladies also enjoyed a delicious spread of appetizers and incredible cocktails. Many of the ladies were so taken by the atmosphere and experience that they stayed on after the cocktail hour to dine among the art and revel in the unique space that is Liquid Art House.

The art isn’t the only masterpiece on hand. The cuisine at Liquid Art House is a work of art as well. Each dish is created and prepared with great attention to detail and flavor. The L.A.H. burger was the best burger I have ever had, a mouthwatering combination of brandt beef, comté cheese, crispy onions, and tomato confit paired with yummy herb frites. The dumplings were delectable, and the cocktails were superb. They’re inspired by current exhibitions, each one as unique as the work of art it was crafted after. My favorite cocktail was Love Ladders – a delightful marrying of bourbon, red currants, vermouth, and bitters.

Like the works of art themselves, the cocktails change regularly with the art on display. Return visitors can delight in sipping new craft cocktails each month.

From the moment you walk into Liquid Art House, you are treated to an artful experience that ignites the senses. This unique gallery-restaurant is a must visit anytime you are in Boston. The art changes regularly, so there’s always something new to see.  In addition, monthly rotating shows and exhibitions featuring artists from all over the world are sure to keep patrons returning regularly. Whether you want to pop in for a quick glance of art and a cocktail or you chose to stay for a meal and revel in the amazing art and atmosphere, Liquid Art House is a must-visit while in Boston.

Have you ever been to a space like Liquid Art House? What do you love about it?
